It’s taken months, with, admittedly, some time out for winter weather, but Raffi is on the road again after his November disaster.
New configuration: The battery’s under the seat, reversed,
with the horrible mount facing backwards. A small bungee
spider web is wrapped around the battery case handle,
and allows the battery to be easily clipped on and off.
After troubleshooting with a good riding friend (thank you, Mike!), and interested input from Ian, a fellow blogger (Aussie on a Brompton, highly recommended!), I set to work and did my best to resolve Raffi’s dilemma — and failed. Posted late, due to various Raffi distractions.
Mileage for November, 2021: 55.7 miles (89.6 km)
Total mileage, year-to-date: 120.8 miles (194.4 km)

Total Mileage for October, 2021: 10.06 miles/16 km
Total mileage, year-to-date: 65.14 (104.8 km) (The year started very late, Ida didn’t help, and, for that and other reasons, we hardly rode in September and October.)
Zero, absolutely 0, thanks to Ida, other weather, and occasionally badly-time miscellaneous Other Stuff. Bah.
Total mileage, year-to-date: 55.08 (88.6 km) (The year started very late!)
August started off wonderfully, but heat and rain made for very little tricycling during the last two weeks.
Mileage for August, 2021: 41.78 (67.2 km)
Total mileage, year-to-date: 55.08 (88.6 km)
So, bah humbug — not nearly as much cycling as I’d hoped to do.
Distance ridden on my Di Blasi R34 tricycle in July, 2021: 13.3 miles (21.4 km).
