There are lots and lots of trikes around, so finding one for an adult isn’t really all that much of a challenge. It isn’t even that hard to find folding trikes.

Meet Raffaello (Raffi, for short), an adorable and cleverly engineered folding tricycle. Raffi arrived in February 2020, just before lockdown, at which point everything changed . . .

Raffi joined the family because I needed a sturdy foldable trike that could, if necessary, be stuffed into a passenger car. (How’s that for a requirement!?!) I live in the suburban wilderness, and in the event of crisis, rescue isn’t available through public transit.

Total for August: 119.85 miles
